Microsoft announced as a member of GAIA-X

Last week Microsoft participated in the first ever GAIA-X Summit, where Microsoft was announced as a member of GAIA-X.

The GAIA-X project is focused on creating the world’s first federated data and cloud to ensure that Europe benefits from the value of the data its companies generate, the business models they pioneer, and the innovations they bring to market. Microsoft believes GAIA-X offers a bold and thoughtful framework of principles to achieve this and shares the values and vision that will guide the development of the GAIA-X federated infrastructure.

During the Summit, Casper Klynge, Vice President European Government Affairs, shared Microsoft’s position on GAIA-X and how we support European economic growth and opportunity. Our message was clear – together we can make Europe fit for the digital age by building Tech Fit 4 Europe.
