Microsoft Highlights the Potential of NUI at World Economic Forum

This year, we’re doing something a bit different at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

In addition to attending sessions on the many policy and business issues that affect our company, our customers and our partners, we’re inviting people to experience several of our newest innovations in natural and intuitive technologies: Kinect for Xbox 360 and Windows Phone 7. Of course, much has been discussed about the current appeal of these popular products.

However, we’re also highlighting them as examples of natural and intuitive technologies that have even broader possibilities in the future, beyond entertainment and mobile communications. As you’ll see in the infographic to the left, the vast majority of people in both developed and emerging markets see the potential for natural and intuitive technologies to be used in more ways to improve quality of life and help stimulate economic growth. Click on the infographic for a larger view of the image.

So, we’re inviting Davos attendees to experience these innovations and share in that enthusiasm, and we invite you to do the same by reading a bit more about the potential for these technologies on the Official Microsoft Blog.
