Microsoft’s board of directors has a long-standing commitment to maintaining an active dialogue with our shareholders. This objective is accomplished through a variety of channels. One recent example of this effort can be found in today’s release of the latest installment in our board of directors video series – a collection of interviews with members of our board designed to provide deeper insights into their backgrounds and perspectives on board service.
The latest installment features Sandra Peterson, Group Worldwide Chairman of Johnson & Johnson. Sandra joined the board in December 2015 and brings strong global business experience from her time at Johnson & Johnson, which is the largest and most diversified health care company in the world with more than 265 operating companies in over 60 countries. Sandra’s conversation covers topics ranging from her earliest career lessons, to the power of cloud technology in healthcare, and how diversity in the workplace is always a smart business decision.
