Pre-orders for Surface Pro 3, introduced Tuesday at an event in New York, have begun.
Surface Pro 3 has 4th-generation Intel Core processor options and a 12-inch screen, but weighs just 1.76 pounds and is 0.36 inches thin. This makes it the most powerful, thinnest and lightest Surface Pro yet.
Panos Panay, Microsoft corporate vice president for Surface Computing, explains on the Surface blog: “In designing Surface, we wanted to design a device that can marry the power of the full PC without compromising the sleek finish, elegant look and feel, light weight, thinness, and great battery life that we expect from a tablet.”
Now you can pre-order your own Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro Type Cover and Surface Pen in markets around the world (see the full list over on the Surface blog) through Microsoftstore.com, Microsoft retail stores and select third-party retailers.
