The wait for Skype on Windows Phone is over. Just a few moments ago, we announced the Skype for Windows Phone Beta app. Skype is now available on almost all of the leading mobile smartphone OS’es. The final version of the app will be available in April, but you can grab the beta right now (Zune link) or via the web based Marketplace.
With my family 5000 miles away, I’m a big user of Skype. At this very moment, I’m making a call from my Windows Phone to my brother on his PC back in the UK. The video below (on a white Lumia 900) shows you how it works… and this is just the beginning.
