Changes Coming to blogs.technet.com/security

I wanted to give everyone a heads-up on some changes that will be happening to my blog in the coming weeks.  As my role and responsibility has changed in the organization, I haven’t had as much time to do research and write as I did in the past.  Additionally, my team has been working on aligning our digital and social media tools (e.g. twitter, blogs, web sites), and the idea of having a Blog site to cover all things about Microsoft Security is a natural part of that.  Finally, having a blog URL like http://blogs.technet.com/security kind of begs to be the place it would live.

With that in mind, we’ll be broadening the scope of http://blogs.technet.com/security from “Jeff Jones Security Blog” to the “Microsoft Security Blog,” and over time, there will be a broader set of contributors than just me – and hopefully even some external guest contributors from time to time.

At the same time, I am planning to start contributing a lot more than I have in recent months, starting now and have several posts planned for the next few weeks.

Stay tuned for more information, and in the meantime, let me also encourage you to follow me on twitter:
