Education and Covid

As part of the Microsoft Brazil COVID-19 report, a new piece has been released shedding light on how Microsoft technology has helped education and distance learning during a period of social isolation.  State Technical Schools (Etecs) and State Technology Facilities (Fatecs) have been taking remote classes using the Microsoft Teams collaboration and community platform. Through the use of Microsoft Teams, students have been able to share their experiences regarding self-care, mental health and more, allowing teachers to generate uplifting content during these times.  Additionally, in elementary schools, the Social Service for Industry (SESI) utilized Minecraft to create a challenge inviting students to build a pre- and post-pandemic “world.”  To read more about how technology and education are working together, click here.
