Despite its sweeping, global implications and ever-escalating technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT) does not have to be complicated. We’ve spent years demystifying IoT for enterprises, most recently helping put IoT within reach for organizations through our Microsoft Azure IoT services, Quick Start program and others.
Today’s post on the Machine Learning blog puts that into sharp perspective for the Maker community. In a post titled “How to get your IoT solution up and running in six minutes,” a step-by-step discussion —complete with “how to” video – explains how to connect cheap devices, such as Arduino boards or Raspberry Pis, with off-the-shelf sensors to create your own monitoring solutions.
“Have you assumed that it might get pretty complicated or overwhelming to efficiently collect such sensor data, analyze it, and then visualize it on dashboards or setup notifications?” asks Santosh Balasubramanian, program manager on the Azure Stream Analytics team. “Well, it’s time to think again.” Check out the full post here.
