Facebook and Microsoft have announced the support of more companies for the Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX), an open ecosystem that increases interoperability and reduces friction for developing and deploying AI.

Now companies such as AMD, Arm, Huawei and IBM are supporting the ONNX format.

Microsoft is also adopting the ONNX format widely, releasing preview support for ONNX in Cognitive Toolkit, an open source, deep learning toolkit.

Project Brainwave, the deep learning platform for accelerating real-time AI, will also support the ONNX format, which will help customers accelerate models from a variety of frameworks.
