New Windows Server version for developers provides flexibility to run containerized applications

The new Windows Server version 1709 for developers, built on customer feedback, provides a platform with great density and performance as well as flexibility to run containerized applications, writes Patrick Lang, a Windows Server senior program manager. New features include faster downloads, builds and deployments with Nano Server container image as well as new functionality for Linux containers.
