Windows Template Studio is now available to make it easier for developers to create new projects that target the Universal Windows Platform. It uses a dev-friendly wizard that brings together pages, frameworks and features to walk developers through four steps that lead to a new UWP app.
Windows Template Studio is open source, so developers can add additional capabilities and app pages, and improve the implemented best practices and patterns to make the engine their own.
This engine evolved from Windows App Studio, a free, online app creation tool that helped developers and enthusiasts quickly build Windows Universal Apps.
