In the Creators Update preview, when Windows Defender ATP detects an attack, security teams can take immediate action: isolate machines, ban files from the network, kill and quarantine running processes or files, or retrieve an investigation package from a machine to provide forensic evidence – with a click of a button.

Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) for enterprise customers will have some major enhancements in the Windows Creators Update, and you can register for the Creators Update trial to try out the new capabilities yourself.

Among the highlights: better detection, investigation and response, writes Avi Sagiv, Windows Defender ATP principal program manager.
