Celebrate Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with fan experiences from Microsoft

To celebrate Disney’s highly anticipated live-action adaptation “Beauty and the Beast” hitting theaters March 17, Microsoft and Disney are offering fans of all ages fun experiences that bring the movie to life. From an augmented reality (AR) experience at Microsoft Store to special screenings – there’s something magical for every fan to enjoy.

Starting Thursday, here are a few enchanted ways fans can celebrate Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”:

Fan experiences at the Microsoft Store

  • For the Superfan: Get your photo taken with life-sized characters from the movie, like Beast or Lumiere, using augmented reality exclusively at your local Microsoft Store until March 27. Stop by the Surface photo station, snap a picture and receive a special card with a link to download and share with friends.
  • For the budding filmmaker: Get your hands on the new Surface Studio and use Moho Pro to create movement and gestures on screen or build your own world with Paint 3D using lifelike images and scenes.
  • For the animators: Coloring enthusiasts can also bring vivid color to their favorite characters using a Surface Pen and inking app, Sketchable, and get lost in pages of coloring possibilities.

Movie ticket and screening offerings

Get a $13 Fandango movie ticket to see Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” when you purchase any qualifying Disney film on Microsoft Movies & TV. Deal expires March 30; see terms here.
