In a new series about smart cities in Asia, Stefan Sjöström, vice president of Public Sector, Microsoft Asia, discusses how a cancer diagnosis made him want to help others. He decided to work on democratizing technology for public good in Asia, home of some of the least wired countries.
Sjöström is working with governments to show how cloud and digital technologies can improve lives, from fighting human trafficking to delivering services to detecting flash floods in Singapore.
