4 ways to use Windows Ink for easier trip-planning in Windows Map app

Windows Ink, part of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, lets you capture ideas quickly and naturally with a pen or touch-enabled device. In a post on the Windows Blog, learn how using Windows Ink can help make trip-planning easier when you use it with the Windows Map app.

By drawing in the Windows Map app, you can easily get directions, measure distances, leave notes and more. Draw a line between two points for instant directions, and the Maps app will quickly convert your ink into a route and give you directions.

You can also use Windows Ink to mark up and add notes to your map; trace a route and find distances; and use the ruler for perfectly straight lines on your map.
