The next phase of support for blockchain on Microsoft Azure is now available with the launch of an early version of Bletchley v1.

The release can turn the three-week process of setting up a globally distributed multi-node consortium Ethereum network into something that can be done in five to eight minutes, according to Marley Gray, principal program manager of Azure Blockchain Engineering at Microsoft.

Time-consuming tasks have been automated “to allow you to focus on your core business — re-envisioning and reinventing business processes to come up with the new stories of tomorrow,” writes Christine Avanessians, senior program manager for Azure.
