Ambition, determination, and most importantly, support. That’s what it takes to be a professional athlete, especially in a country like Brazil. And that’s why we created Coletivo do Esporte, a unique way to make sure the spirit of the 2016 Summer Games endures for years to come.

This crowdfunding site is dedicated to supporting pro athletes and their community initiatives. It gives fans in Brazil and all around the world a way to donate, lend their support, leave a message of encouragement and make a meaningful difference that will positively impact the underprivileged youth and society of Brazil.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Through Coletivo do Esporte, a minimum two-year initiative that has the support of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, we will continue inspiring, instilling pride, encouraging hope, and living our mission.

Microsoft is also proud to announce a first-of-its-kind accessible online comic book that spreads the message of Coletivo do Esporte by letting people create and share their own superhero avatar. Just like these amazing pro athletes who are giving back to their communities, superheroes go above and beyond the everyday to achieve more.
