The Microsoft Cloud reached new major milestones this week to bring the benefits of Microsoft Azure to additional customers in Canada, Germany and the United States in order to help them achieve more through a highly scalable global cloud platform.
“This marks a significant expansion of Microsoft’s trusted cloud services in each of the regions, an increase in the announced total of Azure regions to 30, and more choice for Microsoft Cloud customers across the globe,” writes the Microsoft Server and Cloud Platform Team.
Microsoft Azure has now announced 30 regions globally with 22 regions generally available. The Canadian, Deutschland and Microsoft Cloud for Government regions are part of Microsoft’s plans for eight new regions, all backed by Microsoft’s $15 billion investment in global datacenter infrastructure, the team says.
