Visual Studio released the latest set of reliability and performance improvements this week, including many upgrades made based on continued customer feedback.

Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 RC addressed a host of issues, including fixing crashes due to null or invalid pointer reads, improvements in C++ project load time and reduced licensing failures. The team also addressed the runtime performance of the C/C++ library, which should work noticeably faster. “Give it a try and let us know if you notice a difference,” writes John Montgomery on the Visual Studio Blog.
