Dynamics makes healthcare more personal

Next week is HIMSS 2016, the annual conference of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). This means it’s a great time to consider the impact technology has had on the healthcare industry, whether it’s providers using Skype to communicate with patients, booking appointments online, or using schedules and alerts in a variety of ways.

No matter what the technological solution, one thing remains – “personal relationships are the foundation of effective healthcare,” writes Kirsten Edmondson Wolfe on the Microsoft Dynamics Blog.

The importance of this provider-patient relationship is why Microsoft Dynamics CRM offers a template that was built specifically for healthcare. This gives health professionals patient dashboards; the ability to capture medical histories, screenings and tests; and means to track different relationships across physician practices and clinics.
