Save on LCARS Interface, inspired by ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation,’ and more Red Stripe Deals

Every week, the Red Stripe Deals deliver savings of at least 50 percent on six Windows 10 apps and games. The newest set includes a sci-fi flashback, baseball mayhem and a hungry chimp.

LCARS Interface ($1.49, usually $2.99) is an app inspired by the futuristic computers seen in “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” With it, you can transform your PC’s display to fit in with your favorite retro sci-fi series. You can scan an area of the planet (just ours, for now) and get information about current atmospheric conditions, as well as a full five-day forecast. Or, make this interface the default viewer for text files or your default media player. You’ll find plenty of other ways to incorporate it in to your daily life, too.

"Baseball Riot"
“Baseball Riot”

In “Baseball Riot” ($1.49, usually $2.99) take control of retired star batter Gabe Carpaccio as he frees his former team from the grasp of Explodz Inc. Smash baseballs at goons, knock out multiple targets at once and detonate craters to launch villains to the sky.

Chimpact” ($2.49, usually $4.99) is known for visually immersive environments with a variety of delightful characters. Collect gems, medallions and bananas, which add to your chimp’s abilities.
