How one fifth-grade teacher uses OneNote and Genius Hour to empower students

In Office Blogs, fifth-grade teacher Tammy Brecht Dunbar shares how she’s empowering her students with the help of popular e-book “Liberating Genius in the Classroom.” The book is a series of lessons developed by educator Angela Maiers in OneNote, and Brecht Dunbar describes how she uses the guide to build character, self-reflection and collaboration in her students.

Based in the Manteca Unified School District in Central California, she also writes how she’s using Sway, Skype,, OneNote and the book’s concept of a “Genius Hour” to help her students learn.
