In Office Blogs, fifth-grade teacher Tammy Brecht Dunbar shares how she’s empowering her students with the help of popular e-book “Liberating Genius in the Classroom.” The book is a series of lessons developed by educator Angela Maiers in OneNote, and Brecht Dunbar describes how she uses the guide to build character, self-reflection and collaboration in her students.

Based in the Manteca Unified School District in Central California, she also writes how she’s using Sway, Skype, Docs.com, OneNote and the book’s concept of a “Genius Hour” to help her students learn.
