Voice control comes to the home as INSTEON for Hub app adds Cortana support

With a recent update, the INSTEON for Hub now supports Microsoft digital assistant Cortana, so you can use voice commands to control things around your house, like turning on lights or turning down the thermostat.

INSTEON puts control of your home in the palm of your hand through your Windows Phone or Windows device. This app keeps you connected to your home or business by controlling lights, appliances, cameras and more. It also gives users the power to set up schedules for lighting and devices. Live Tiles can alert you to motion or water sensors at home detecting something amiss – or keep you up to date on your home’s status. You can even use your smartphone to tap into your home’s cameras.

Use the app with INSTEON Hub. There are no monthly fees.

Install INSTEON for Hub for free from the Windows Store and Windows Phone Store.
