ParkMe Parking update adds real-time occupancy for city lots and better Cortana integration

I’ve lived in cities for most of my adult life, so I’m used to building in time for parking. I’m the friend who circles at least three times around the block looking for a free or cheap spot before conceding to a garage. So it’s with a certain amount of glee that I’m reporting on the latest update to the ParkMe Parking app.

The database at ParkMe contains parking spots in more than 500 cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C. It delivers informative maps of nearby parking lots and garages so you can compare rates and prices. And now, it shows real-time info about where spaces are available in city lots and at meters for on-street parking, and adds better integration with Cortana.

You can even set a parking timer so you don’t overstay or overpay. When you decide on a lot or garage, get directions to the nearest driveway — not just the street address.

Install ParkMe Parking for free from the Windows Phone Store.
