With Office Lens update, you can now convert pictures to PDF files and save to OneDrive

Office Lens already helps Windows Phone users go paperless by converting images of whiteboards and documents into Word and PowerPoint files, and saves the images to OneNote. A recent update provides PDFs as an option for conversion and the ability to save to OneDrive.

The app, which acts as a “scanner in your pocket,” also trims and enhances these pictures, which you can save for more careful study later and sharing with co-workers. Printed text is automatically recognized (using OCR), so it’s easy to search for words in images and copy and edit them.

Install Office Lens for free from the Windows Phone Store.
