Newest Skype Beauty Ambassador aims to aid poverty relief efforts

Lara Eurdolian, named as the new Skype Beauty Ambassador, spends most of her time blogging about beauty trends on her site, But she’s also pretty connected in using her industry contacts via Skype to make a positive difference in the lives of women in poverty.

In addition to blogging, Eurdolian is a program director for Family-to-Family, a national non-profit hunger and poverty relief organization that “creates a bridge between communities with ‘more’ and some of our country’s poorest areas,” she says in an interview on the Skype Play Blog.

She helped start the “Share your Beauty” program to “unite the coterie of beauty bloggers, editors, publications, brands and communities in creating ongoing beauty collection drives, and opportunities and delivering beauty products to select organizations serving impoverished women in crisis.”
