It’s Dr. Panda to the rescue – and the grocery store – for kids on Windows Phone

Oct 18, 2013

You remember how much fun it was to push around a grocery cart when you were little (not so much fun as an adult, for sure). Now your own children can do the same in “Dr. Panda’s Supermarket,” a new game for Windows Phone. Another new game for Windows Phone,”Dr. Panda’s Hospital,” lets young ones help Dr. Panda in caring for sick animals.

Both games are geared to children ages 2 to 6. Game maker Dr. Panda aims to “teach kids about life and the world around them.”

In “Dr. Panda’s Supermarket,” kids learn about numbers and money by weighing fruits and vegetables, using a shopping list and even ringing up customers, among many other store activities.

In “Dr. Panda’s Hospital,” they learn how to measure blood pressure, apply ointment and adjust broken bones as they help the doc care for a range of different animal patients.

Each game is $1.99. Check out “Dr. Panda’s Hospital” and “Dr. Panda’s Supermarket” in the Windows Phone Store for more info.
