Illinois is swiftly becoming a megahub for technology opportunities — with code camps springing up everywhere, computer science education becoming widespread, and startups quickly filling the Chicago metro area, it’s no surprise that the state is also becoming a serious supporter of sustainability. We’re excited to announce that we’re contributing to the green energy revolution right here in Illinois.
The Pilot Hill Wind Project, a 175-megawatt wind power facility, is now up and running, and will be powering 100% of our Chicago Data Center for the next 20 years.
