Inaugural Bay Area Women’s Summit

This week, San Francisco and Oakland Mayors Ed Lee and Libby Schaaf hosted the inaugural Bay Area Women’s Summit in San Francisco. Microsoft is proud to have sponsored this important event, which brought together women and men from across the region to learn from each other and pledge to take action on topics critical to the well-being of the Bay Area, including pay equity, access to education, and paid family leave. As Mayor Lee said, “We know that when women succeed, the world moves forward…Our voices, our pledges, our work today – and in the future – can ensure that the Bay Area moves forward and the women of our region and their families succeed and thrive.”
