On November 5th the Silicon Valley Business Journal honored local businesses and nonprofits at its annual Corporate Philanthropy Awards. Microsoft Silicon Valley was honored with the #11 spot (up from last year’s #12 spot) on the ‘Top 50 Givers’ list; 2015 rankings were based on companies’ cash donations to local Silicon Valley non-profits.
Our own Jessica Weare, Philanthropy and Civic Engagement Manager, accepted the award on Microsoft’s behalf. Every award recipient was challenged with accepting the award in ten words or less.
