This year the Silicon Valley Leadership Group‘s Education Summit brought together over 400 industry members, education advocates, and elected officials for a day of meaningful discussions around education technology, diversifying the STEM pipeline, implementing new education reforms, and workforce preparedness. Sal Khan, Founder and CEO of Khan Academy delivered the Education Summit Keynote. He recounted the inspiring story of how he founded the not-for-profit Khan Academy and how the organization educates millions of people worldwide by “providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere”.
