A Robust Discussion at the 2015 Silicon Valley Regional Economic Forum

On May 29, the Computer History Museum in Mountain View hosted the annual Silicon Valley Regional Economic Forum, one of the 16 regional forums held across the state of California to identify economic competitiveness issues and inform upcoming legislation.  Silicon Valley Leadership Group convened a diverse group of engaged partners, including elected officials, corporations, foundations, and non-profits.

While the day’s agenda included four separate panels on transportation, housing, education, and workforce equity, the complex discussion that emerged highlighted how interconnected these issues are in Silicon Valley, and underscored the reality that all stakeholders have to work together and think regionally.  Here’s a glimpse of the conversation:
