Welcome to 555 California – Microsoft opens new office in San Francisco

Last week we hosted customers, partners, and community leaders at the grand opening celebration of Microsoft’s new San Francisco office at 555 California.  The move to the new interactive space in the heart of the Financial District will allow for better collaboration with our employees, partners, and the local community.

We were honored to have Supervisor Julie Christensen join us, who represents District 3 where the new office is located. Julie worked with tech companies, including Microsoft, during her early career and we are looking forward to seeing her expertise further innovation in government.

As part of the celebration, Microsoft awarded a software grant to JVSa local non-profit that serves over 4000 job seekers annually – 800 of which are local youth.  JVS helps job seekers acquire the skills and resources needed to find meaningful employment by working closely with Bay Area employers.
