It’s tough to be a public school teacher these days.  Educational budgets and resources may be tight, but the expectations of students, parents, and community leaders are higher than ever.  Today’s teachers must adjust to the new Common Core State Standards, cope with large classes of digital natives, and assimilate every-changing educational technology.

That’s what makes the winners of this year’s Krause Center for Innovation Awards so remarkable: not only are these educators succeeding at that complicated juggling act, but they are also finding innovative new ways to engage their students.  Microsoft was thrilled to support the Krause Center for Innovation Awards last week, and we enjoyed celebrating these exceptional teachers.
