Microsoft goes analog with Little Printer

In a world of digital sometimes a little analog can be just the ticket.

When I first saw Little Printer I fell in love with it – such an elegant idea, so wonderfully executed by BERG of London. For those unfamiliar with Little Printer it’s a web connected thermal printer that allows you to subscribe to a range of publications and have them printed on a schedule you choose in to a personalized little newspaper.

Here in the Microsoft News Room we’re so enamored with our Little Printer that we decided to create some of our own feeds to feed it on. Microsoft by the Numbers publishes weekly on Monday’s and is a monochromatic print offshoot of our By The Numbers Site. Its sister publication is Microsoft Stories of the Day which as the titles suggests publishes daily (M-F) and includes 3 chosen top stories from that day. Here’s our printer in action today spooling out both publications.
