New Skype 8.0 Accessibility Improvements

By Microsoft Accessibility

Building on the work we announced earlier this year, we have listened to your feedback and continued to work to make the latest iteration (version 8.0) even more accessible.

To help with the transition to Skype 8.0, we created the Accessibility support for Skype page with details on how to easily use a screen reader, keyboard shortcuts, and guidance for completing accessible scenarios in Skype including chat, adding expressions, and navigating a profile.

We’ve also made a few additional accessibility improvements to the latest version of Skype, including focus assist, navigational focus announcements, smoother navigation and more. Read more about the latest accessibility improvements on the Skype blog.
