Xbox Adaptive Controller available today at Microsoft Stores

The Xbox Adaptive Controller is now available for purchase at Microsoft Stores and GameStop Online for $99.99. It is the first-of-its-kind and has lead the way in bringing inclusivity to the gaming industry.

Inclusion has been at the forefront of the design process for the controller, working closely with gamers with limited mobility, accessibility experts, advocates, and organizations like The AbleGamers Charity, The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Craig Hospital, and Special Effect and Warfighter Engaged. The design process did not stop at the controller, but we also focused on accessible packaging.

For its inclusive design, the Xbox Adaptive controller will be commemorated in the Victoria & Albert museum based in the UK, within the museum’s Rapid Response Collection, curating objects that create major moments in history that touch the world of design and manufacturing.
