While we think it’s important to recognize the importance of SMBs every day, we’re particularly excited to celebrate National Small Business Week (May 12–16) with the US Small Business Association (SBA). NSBW celebrates small businesses with events, workshops, and more that provide essential resources for entrepreneurs, SMB owners, innovators, and their advocates.
More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and Microsoft knows how important these organizations are to the economy. Microsoft retail stores are hosting complimentary networking events and workshops tailored to startups and small businesses throughout the week.
Microsoft stores also offer free small business workshops throughout the year, including ways to promote your business through search, grow your business mobility, and increase productivity with the cloud.
Free virtual training
In addition, SBA is hosting events in cities across the US, plus several complimentary virtual events throughout the week focused on helping your SMB improve its marketing, sales, and business development efforts.
Webinars will offer you tips and tricks, including creating repeat business with more effective customer loyalty programs, strengthening your benefits packages at little or no cost, and getting more out of your marketing. Visit the National Small Business Week site for more information and to register.
Can’t join any of the live events? Don’t worry. Check Microsoft for Work throughout the week as we recap several of these events.
