Hot on the heels of the sweet looking Flickr app for WP7 comes the official Amazon app. Charlie Kindel tweeted it’s arrival this morning and details are over on the Amazon site…albeit the didn’t see to have a direct link to download the app from the Marketplace so here it is
Like the Flickr app, Amazon has made great use of the panoramic UI of WP7 to deliver a lot of information in an elegant manner. Great for doing spot reviews when shopping in real life and their deal of the day page could become quite addictive. Today it’s showing a Panasonic 42” 1080p plasma for $600. My new desktop monitor perhaps…
the Amazon remembers feature from their iPhone app is pretty cool so hoping that gets added at some point…
