Hot on the heels of last week’s Windows 10 launch, Microsoft on Tuesday unveiled a slate of PC accessories that take advantage of the new operating system’s features and functionality.
For starters, the new Wireless Desktop 900 sports a simple design with quiet-touch keys and easy plug-and-play wireless capability with a 30-foot range, along with an ambidextrous mouse. The keyboard includes one-click shortcuts for Cortana, OneNote and virtual desktops – offering quick access to new Windows 10 features – and the package features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption for safe and secure wireless connectivity. You’ll be able to pick up the Wireless Desktop 900 for $49.95 at the Microsoft Store and other retailers starting Oct. 1. The Wireless Mouse 900 will be available separately for $29.95.
Next is an update to the bestselling Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500. The Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 features new Bluetooth 4.0 SMART technology and a four-way scroll wheel for navigating up, down, left and right. Compact and comfortable, it’s great for on-the-go computing. The Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 will be available at the Microsoft Store and other retailers starting Oct. 8 for $29.95.
Other new and updated accessories include the Sculpt Comfort Desktop, Wireless Desktop 850 and Keyboard 850, Wireless Desktop 3050 and Wireless Comfort Desktop 5050. For all the details, head over to the Blogging Windows post.
