Office 365 has powerful tools to handle eDiscovery, the finding, reviewing and producing of electronically stored information in the face of a lawsuit, writes Michael Panciroli in the US Partner Community Blog. The process can be time-consuming and expensive, and it’s important for companies to have a system in place to reduce risk.

Office 365 can streamline the process, by providing a single location to store content and intelligent queries to find it, writes Panciroli. It can retain mail for a defined period of time, to make sure data isn’t altered or deleted. It also has an easy way to export large amounts of material.
