On Friday, Visual Studio 2015 Community Technology Preview (CTP) 5 was released. It includes new features in debugging, diagnostics, the XAML language service and ASP.NET 5 that were added after the November Preview release, writes John Montgomery, Visual Studio Platform director of program management.

“While not a major release, this CTP is another opportunity for you to provide us with feedback as we make progress towards releasing,” Montgomery says.

Read about the new features in Visual Studio 2015 CTP 5, and download it. Alternatively, Montgomery suggests, “save some time and use the provided virtual machine image in Azure.”
