Ready for mutant madness on Oct. 28? You’re not alone. “Sunset Overdrive” has officially gone gold, and you can now preorder and download “Sunset Overdrive Day One Edition” and the “Sunset Overdrive Day One Digital Deluxe Edition” on Xbox Live.

When you preorder and download the insane end-of-days game, it becomes available to you to play at the moment the game becomes available on the release date. And, with your preorder, you’ll also receive two bonus weapons.

You’ll also want to tune into the Xbox Channel on Twitch Saturday, Oct. 11, from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. PT, to watch a live stream of the first hour of “Sunset Overdrive” campaign gameplay. Insomniac Games and Best Buy are hosting the “First to Play” event at the Best Buy store in Torrance, Calif.
