Enterprise customers can now buy Azure Active Directory Basic through the volume-licensing channel.
AAD Basic is built specifically for some of Microsoft’s largest customers, who have thousands of employees who don’t have a traditional office. They are retail store employees, baristas and bank tellers (and other similar roles). Most aren’t represented in their organizations’ on-premises Active Directory since they don’t use a PC or access corporate applications.
AAD Basic provides essential features like company branding, group-based application access and self-service password reset.
