‘Assassin’s Creed: Unity’ demo at gamescom 2014 displays exploration and evisceration features

A demo of “Assassin’s Creed: Unity” provides a taste of the game’s “mission-molding approach,” but it also just scratches the surface of this new, free-form philosophy, writes Xbox Wire.

The game, due out Oct. 28 for Xbox One, was shown at gamescom 2014 this week, and has lots of literal twists and turns, including the “ability to continue pursuing a target (even if you’ve ‘failed’ a tailing objective),” which further emphasize the game’s focus on increased player agency.
