To help parents protect their kids – online and off – our colleagues at the Conversations blog have put together some resources to help keep track of your children, send alerts and block malicious sites.
KeepTrack is a free app that gives your kids’ whereabouts via LiveTrack. You can see where they are on a map and send them private messages. There’s also an SOS mode that kids can activate with one click. Safe Browser is another free app that’s designed to be used with Kid’s Corner that helps block phishing and malware sites. You can also choose Web content categories to block, such as “gambling,” “shopping,” “alcohol and tobacco,” and “chat.”
Head over to the Conversations blog to find more resources that can help protect your children.
