Xbox tourneys, first look at “Halo: Nightfall” series and more on tap at San Diego Comic-Con July 24-27

Get ready to party, play and preview all things Xbox at San Diego Comic-Con International, with Xbox tournaments powered by Major League Gaming, a first look at the digital series “Halo: Nightfall,” and the opportunity to play “Sunset Overdrive,” “Evolve,” “Forza Horizon 2” and other games that are coming to Xbox One later this year.

It all takes place July 24-27. The tournaments are open to everyone attending Comic-Con. As the exclusive sponsor of the Comic-Con Lounge, Xbox is teaming up with Major League Gaming (MLG) to bring eSports to Comic-Con. The Xbox Gaming Lounge will host a variety of walk-up-and-play tournaments for “Titanfall,” “Killer Instinct” and “Forza Motorsport 5.”

MLG commentator Chris Puckett will provide play-by-play commentary for walk-up gamers, who will also have the opportunity to play against MLG pros and YouTube stars. Tournaments will be broadcast on the MLG apps for Xbox One and Xbox 360, as well as MLG.tv and MLG mobile apps.
