Free OneDrive storage space increases from 7 GB to 15 GB for individual users

Need to let out your digital belt a little bit, with all those photos, videos and other documents you have to store? OneDrive will soon give you more free storage, going from 7 GB to 15 GB for individuals, it was announced Monday.

Also, all subscription versions of Office 365 will soon come with 1 TB of OneDrive storage, up – way up — from 20 GB. This increase in storage space follows an April announcement that all OneDrive for Business customers will get 1 TB of cloud storage per person.

If you don’t need an Office 365 subscription, but do need more storage space, there are monthly subscription storage options, soon with big price reductions. The new monthly prices will be $1.99 for 100 GB (previously $7.49), and $3.99 for 200 GB (previously $11.49).
