While you can passively ingest information from your phone, you can also use it to get active and healthy. The Conversations blog gives some great examples of Windows Phone apps that can help you get back in shape – or continue the progress you’ve already made.
One of apps is Bing Health & Fitness, which can be your digital personal trainer. It has a library of video workouts “tailored to your fitness level, from strength (‘Big, Strong and Lean Workout’) to yoga (‘Yoga for Athletes’), as well as a compendium of medical information.”
It also uses GPS to track and log the time and distance of your morning run, your afternoon bike ride — even surfing. The app can also track calorie intake, and gives you up-to-date health and nutrition news.
Head over to the Conversations blog to see more apps that will get you moving in the right direction.
