New IE Developer Channel gives Web developers, early adopters a sneak peek at what’s in the works

On Monday, the Internet Explorer team announced the release of the IE Developer Channel, a fully functioning browser meant to give Web developers and early adopters a look at the Web platform features being worked on by the team.

The Developer Channel is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 SP1 customers running Internet Explorer 11.

IE Developer Channel can run alongside and independently of IE11, and “has all of the browser features that you love in IE11, as well as the latest platform features we’re working on,” writes Jason Weber, partner group program manager, in a blog post. Feedback is encouraged, and can be submitted through @IEDevChat or Connect.
